This project was divided into a two-phase MVP, and it’s particularly challenging. The objective is to digitize the process of requesting an amortization from your credit contract, as the name implies.
However, the bank responsible for handling Severance Pay Funds is a government-linked institution. If you’re unfamiliar with severance pay funds, they’re reserves set aside for employees after a specified period of employment.
Consequently, we encountered significant bureaucratic hurdles and had to ensure the accuracy of the information we handled, as it involved clients’ money.

EARLY DEVELOPMENT
The initial MVP aimed to allow clients to submit documents through the app instead of visiting an agency and speaking with a manager, a process that remains prevalent today. The challenge was that clients had to fill out a large PDF. The second MVP is expected to eliminate the need for the PDF entirely by providing a user-friendly and guided journey.
RESEARCH
After defining the project’s approach in the initial phases, I created some wireframes. Following an initial presentation with stakeholders, my coworkers and I began working on high-fidelity prototypes. With said prototypes in hand, we conducted user research and gathered feedback from clients, which informed our subsequent refinement of the journey.
ADJUSTMENTS
Although the user only needs to fill out a form and submit documents, this process requires significant attention from them. Additionally, we must present a substantial amount of information throughout the journey to prevent request denials. Our initial prototype performed exceptionally well, but some clients found it still lacking clarity. To address this, we collaborated with the research team and other designers to refine the prototypes based on their insights and perspectives.
HANDOFF
The refined prototypes received exceptional feedback from leadership and stakeholders. After validations, thorough inspections, and final adjustments, we finally shipped it to development. In March 2026, this project will be available to over 109 million clients, significantly optimizing an outdated process that could take up to 3 months to just 10 days.
